Fone line cut. No attempt to repair!!

We have had a fualt on our telkom adsl line since Monday 14th of January. We reported the fualt with them on the 15th. We have been calling every day since then to try and get an update on the repair. They have still not even sent a technician to determain WHAT the fault is. As my fiance does a lot of work from home in the evenings, this is now costing us a great deal of money because we also dont have a internet connection either, our entire service is dead!
Every time we contact telkom about this matter we are simply told to wait untill a technician becomes available then they will set up an appointment to come inspect.
I find this type of service delivery unecceptable!
They say we can request a credit for the time we had no service when we get our next bill, but what i want to know is what about the money we are loosing while they take their sweet time and laidback attitude to solve the problem?
