Telkom false advertising for Simple Plus package

I signed up for the Telkom Simple Plus package on the 15th April 2013. The package is R499/month and charged pro rata for month of installation.

The plan is invoiced each month as a DSL faster package Telkom w/end plan ISP 10GB, all at full price, minus a 'discount' of R117.54 to bring it to R499 incl VAT.

My invoice for May includes the discount and totals R499 as advertised, however the invoice for April EXCLUDES the discount and totals R455.53 (this is for HALF a month!). I have essentially been charged at the FULL rate, pro rata for the month.

When I phoned to complain about this and the first billing representative fogged me off saying the discount did not apply to the first month and then transferred me to sales to complain to them. The second billing representative, Ms Matabula, said he would investigate the matter and get back to me by the end of the day which she never has. These calls took 30 minutes each and were a complete waste of time as nothing has happened!

Nowhere in the packages terms and conditions does it state the discount does not apply to the first month, nor was it mentioned by any sales representative. This is false advertising!
