Service supplier? Really?

Never in my life have i ever been awestruck at incompetence as i have tonight!
im struggling with my cell c sim card to connect to the internet via my iphone. i keep getting a dns server failure error.
I phoned customer care who put me through to their "technical" team.
The lady's first response was 'have you tried putting it on and off? '
i have done this, she then asked which iphone im using and then which os on my pc.
i replied W7 her response was right click on "MY COmPuter" there is NO my computer on w7 its just computer, so i corrected her and said shes on W xp she said "o my bad" i was then promptly redirected to customer care where i held on for 30 min, before i was told that they cant put me through to their technical dept,
after being bounced around for another 10 min between customer care people i was told there is No solution to my problem!!!
