Iburst
Doesn't work properly. Solution "pending"

So, despite actually using the net for important stuff, now and then I like to kick back and play an online game. Namely a game called DayZ. Well, all good and well, until the 2nd/3rd of the month. Log out on the thurs, and keep getting kicked when trying to rejoin. So I check everything. EVERYTHING. End up redoing pc, reinstalling everything, not installing antivirus, disabling firewalls completely, and running bare minimum. Eventually, get online gamer bud to swing by, he hooks his pc up to my iburst, gets kicked as well. Game runs fine on vodacom or cellC thumbstick internet. Visit iburst store. No luck. Ask for firmware upgrade on 1meg modem. Don't have. Ask to upgrade contract for 2meg modem with new firmware. Can't do. So, emailed them requesting them to provide a solution before month end. Will cancel contract with them. Surely it's null and void if a company doesn't deliver what you signed for... Looking for to the email from them. In this day and age, its amazing how backward some companies are, despite their happy-looking, colourful shopfronts and website. Would love to get adsl, but i need internet that's portable, and works.
