Iburst
Iburst is not delivering

My iburst 2 mb modem worked at 1mb speeds fine until 7 weeks ago it hit 0.02 download speed. I've phoned them multiple times, they have sent in reports upstairs and nothing has happened. I'm still paying for the service and regretting it. For seven weeks I've had terrible speeds, loading a webpage takes forever. I've consulted the help department and installed firmware, drivers etc.. they then told me that the base station near my area needs to be repaired. I fail to see how that should be my problem? It will be fixed in a month they say and might increase my speeds. So do they downgrade a base station leave it inoperable for a months than upgrade it.. leaving customers in the area with terrible service? I've sent emails to the head of help department and no reply. I've tried tampering with MTU settings too, no luck there. moving the modem doesn't work either. Iburst is a pathetic service provider and I suggest internet users to consider other options in the future.
