We took my husbands 2 month old lumia 920 phone in for a software update on Sunday 19 May, because the screen wasn't allowing him to drop calls. We were told the week before it will only take 2 hours. First they told us yesterday it will be 24 hours. As my husband can't be without his phone, we requested they ask the technician if he can see the phone today as we live 57km away and made the trip especially cause we where promised 2 hours. So he agreed on 3 hours. So leaving the phone by vodacom we spent the day entertaining ourselves. Not receiving any news after 4 hours we went to investigate. We where then told that the phone was not done as there was a problem with the update. I asked to speak to the manager but was already dealing with 2IC. So we requested the phone back. Which did not go on anymore. So we asked if the tech is still in but he had left an hour ago. Not finishing the job he said nor notifying us about progress or the problem. I think its completely unacceptable that they can leave us with the problem then they broke a bran new phone and now they are telling me it will take 2-3 weeks to get sorted and meanwhile? We had to struggle to get a loan phone from them.
