Refuse to repair phone

Me and My husband has been loyal customers of Vodacom for at least 12 years... Well no more! Like so many of our friends we have been burned badly by Vodacom and will not be upgrading any of our contracts with them. My husbands first Blackberry broke and was replaced by an 'second hand - new' phone. When this phone broke. We were informed that the phone will not be repaired. As there is water damage to the phone (the phone was never in or even near water) when my husband denied this, the very unhelpful person behind the counter informed my husband that it must be from sweat... WHAT??? Now my Blackberry is not working like it should either, and it is my second phone as well. Wonder what excuse they will have this time not to fix my phone!
