I've had a contract with CellC for more than 8years. I always received monthly itemised billing stating my calls, smss and internet usage one by one. For this month of May I received my bill as usual but the internet usage bill was huge (R266.60) and is recorded as 1 bill made on the 6th April 2013. On this date I never used the internet and there is no way I could have used it up to the value of R266.60 at 1 continous run.
I called customer care on the 13th May, she confirmed that the records didn't show that I was ever connected to the internet on that day and she was going to check with the billing department and would come back to me by email and phone. On the 14th May I received an sms telling me that my query has been resolved and the charges are valid, I must call customer care.
On calling customer care I found that she had no information. I had to explain the same problem again and the next thing she was going to investigate again. She also agreed that I was not connected to the internet on that day. So to me this thing is just moving in circles. They can't even use the reference number of the query given to me (3051302485).
