Took out a new contract and no service

First of all, I took out a new contract which took a month to approve, after that another 2 weeks later I received a phone. It has been 4 days now and I cannot make a single phone call. Apparently they have a new syste, which makes it difficult to make sim cards active. Please!!! Like it is my problem! I went to the eastgate branch and I was not the only one with problems. Please guys, get a proper Provider!
