Disgusted by Vodacoms bad customer service

I Lost my contract phone which was not insured and of which I no longer have the original box for. All I needed from Vodacom was assistance in obtaining my IMEI number which I know for a fact that they have since it was written down on the contract I have with them; to enable me to block my lost cell phone from being used by someone else. I first called their 111 customer care line and I was told to go to the store where I bought the cellphone from that is where I will get assistance. I went there and I was told by a consultant that they don't keep the contracts at the store and I was told to call 0821946 for assistance. I called the contracts department and I was given another number to call which is 011 653 5000, there I spoke to another consultant who said there would be a 7days turn around period to respond to my request. I called the same number 8 days later and I was told to call 082 241 4905 where I was also told that they are not able to assist with my request and that I would have to go back to the store where I bought the cell phone from. up to this day my query still hasn't been resolved.
