Telkom, why am I not surprised

I'm not sure what to do anymore, this is the 4th time in less 6 weeks that my line has gone dead. I've logged a call online on Saturday and it has now been 6 days since my line is still down Calling the call centre is no help at all because their answer for the last 4 days is "they busy working on it and they will call you"... obviously they are also having a problem with their lines as i have yet to receive a call from anyone, except to rate their service... it's a complete joke.
Telkom charge for a line rental, and ADSL rental and I have to pay an ISP for internet every month, to which is all a complete waste of Money if for 60% of the month your line is not working.
I honestly just give up... This is South Africa, and this the service levels one is to expect.
