Annoying marketing calls from Vodacom resellers

I am receiving calls from 3rd party marketers on my vodacom line.
Today, 2 calls from 'elite mobile (who claims to be Vodacom's preferred reseller)' and 'Rewards mobile (?)' both of whom have my personal data, know that I am a vodacom customer, and offer to sell me vodacom products/packages.
I did not sign up for this, did not willingly share my data with either of these companies, and am angry that I am constantly interrupted by people selling me.
I phoned the vodacom helpline, and the person on the line basically told me there was nothing she can do to help, as I am not the principal holder of my phoneline, and furthermore says that it is impossible for vodacom to have sold my data, and they must have got it somewhere else.
I think it is complete rubbish that vodacom can wash its hands of this, when both companies represent themselves as being preferred partners of VC and are using its name as part of their promotional spiel.
I would like vodacom to:
1. stop selling my data to 3rd parties.
2. remove my data from the databases of their 3rd party resellers and ensure I am not contacted again.
