My contract had expired with Vodacom in January 2013. To my surprise, they had been constantly billing me for the past 5 months. They have been debiting plus minus R200 from my account and giving me R135 air time every month there after. However, there is no credibility as to what happened with the remainder of the debited amount.

I was then informed, by a friend, that I need to phone in and cancel my contract. This is five months after my contract had expired, I never received a call advising me that my contract had expired. After cancelling it last month, I receive an sms with a debit order going off with the amount of R203.46. I never received any air time, any phone calls, nothing explaining why.

I then decide to phone in, the first day I tried contacting them, I was transferred to several people, and surprisingly enough, my complaint was not resolved. Today, as I'm typing this, I am on the line with Seipati who has given me S3-TP720-OC92D as a reference. The most helpful person from everyone, granted I spent a while on the line. Vodacom has taken R480 from me without concent. I wonder how many clients they are doing this to. The Credit Bureaus need to investigate.
