When the first Blackberry Contracts came out on Special at Vodacom, I was one of many to jump at the offer of a Blackberry 8520 TopUp 135.Some time last year a Vodacom Telesales person phoned me and asked me if I would like to move up to a TopUp 200 as they can see the R135 airtime a month is not enough. They explained to me how it would work and what my new subscription a month would be. I agreed and moved to the TopUp 200.Then last year around December it was time for me to upgrade my phone and I upgraded to a Blackberry 9360.Again in store the Sales Person went through everything with me and confirmed what my subscription would be and I upgraded. Then some time early this year, one sudden day, my phone could not send or receive BBM messages, emails, facebook etc. I phoned the Vodacom Customer Care Line and the guy explained to me that my BIS Service expired as it was a Special from the previous contract and is not included anymore. He also informed me that I cant buy BIS service with the R200 airtime I receive p/month, they have to bill it extra. Now my Top Up 200 costs me R318 p/m. Not one Vodacom Representative inform me of BIS that will expire. I please want to cancel my contract!
