I am astounded by the absolue chaos and state of incompetence the company called Vodacom has fallen into. This once fore runner in the cellular industry has clearly had a change in senior management, and the result is a company which is run like a government department, clearly not concerned about it's reputation or it's customers. My sorry little tale starts when I decided to upgrade and migrate to a higher (get it I am spending more money a month with you guys) package. I received a new Z10 Blackberry which was faulty, resulting in the divice consuming massive amounts of data randomly. I pointed this out to the owner of the 4U shop in East Rand mall where the upgrade was donel, and they were very helpfull in getting me an out of box exchange for a new phone. The data used by the faulty device amounted to R800, 00 which I am now trying to get reversed from Vodacom. I am sure I will have a beter chance at winning the US lottery than trying to speak to their accounts department. You can only speak to their "customer service" then a call is logged to the illusive accounts department, and up to now (From 18 March) no joy. I am looking forward to the automated responce I will get!!!
