International Calling Rate_ YEAH RIGHT!!!

I am subscribed to Vodacom's international calling rate promo. The promo was supposed to end April 2013. Last month (mis-april or so), Vodacom sent out sms's informing customers that this promo will be permanent. Imagine my shock and horror when i made my international call only to find out that i was being billed the normal calling rate as opposed to the rate i had subscribed to initially. When speaking to Unathi Mgoqi, she informed me that the communication sent to customers did not make mention of the fact that customers needed to opt in again and i was therefore entitled to a refund. I was supposed to have received a call from her. I am still waiting.
i have to say that the service received from Vodacom is abysmal at its best.
Can someone from Customer Service kindly contact me and refund me the airtime i spent on the 02nd May 2013.
I dont understand why simple things have to be escalated in order to get people to do the most basic things!
