Why no towel bag and bottle

Just recently joined Virgin Active (both myself and my husband). As new members you are supposed to get a towel, bag and bottle which we weren't given even on asking. Yesh said he would organise us a towel, bag and bottle each when we joined but now we are just told "out of stock" - yet we train every day and almost every day we see new clients coming out with towels, bags and bottles - why are we being treated differently - is it because we joined through Discovery and that's supposed to be inferior? We would like an explanation.
