CANCELATION OF CONTRACT

I joined this gym in the year 2011, the person who signed me up could give me a contract as they didnt have a copy for clients so i started the gym then around june maybe, i still had a job at that after a two week i lost my job i made arrangements with them they refused for me to cancel my contract cause apparantly i have to get a replacement or wait for three years but my problem is no one told me that prior to applying they even assured me if im not satisfied i can cancel, so now later that year io moved to lenasia i dont have a car so it was impossible for to travel to pimville i couldnt go anymore i told hem and they still said i couldnt cancel so then i stopped paying and blocked my debit orders however it keeps coming back over and over again and i want it cancelled
