I went into the planet fitness in Rivonia on the 8th of January this year to move my current Platinum membership to the Rivonia club membership as this is closer to where I live. I was assisted by the Sales Manager who assisted me in calling Discovery to notify them of the move. He also told me that I did not need to fill in any paperwork to move to Rivonia and that it would be done automatically. I was then assured that my membership would be moved within the next couple of days. After a week with no progress I asked to speak to Tendai again who then told me that the problem was sitting with head office administration and he didn't know when the move would happen. It is now a month since I've tried to move to Rivonia and my account still does not reflect the update. I am unable to access to Rivonia club with my tag and have to be let in every time I arrive there which is quite an inconvenience. Please can somebody sort this out - it is ridiculous that it takes 4 weeks to move membership from one club to another and also disappointing that club staff especially the Sales Manager is not able to tell me what the exact process is and where the problem.
