I am very unhappy about the service received from Planet Fitness. I have send an e-mail requesting cancellation on 04/12/2013 and was only contacted on 20/12/2013, after I had to follow up with them.

Now I am being told that my membership cancellation will only be effective 01/02/2014. I have done numerous follow ups with them to obtain confirmation that my last payable premium should be 01/01/2014, as I cannot be penalised for their poor service, yet no response!

Had the service been up to standard, my membership would have been cancelled effective 01/01/2014.

Planet Fitness won't see me again and I will not recommend anyone joining them.
