Cancelled contract - Debit order continues

In May 3013 I cancelled my Platekloof gym membership and received a cancellation recipt on 31 May. I expected one further debit order payment on 1 June - and that was processed.

However the Debit Orders continued (1 July and 1 August). When I raised the issue with the gym they did stop the debit orders and promised to refund the overcharge.

Despite contacting the Admin desk and the Gym manager as well as raising an issue on their internal "Ferret Kiosk" (at Durbanville Aurora gym where I joined later) I have not yet received a refund. The stock response is that they need to discuss the issue with "Head Office". After a few emails and phone calls to the different parties they stop responding.

Reading other reports this appears to be an ongoing problem with Planet Fitness and I suspect they hope I will just go away.
