I cancelled my account with Planet Fitness on the 15 of April 2013. I even received an e-mail from Planet Fitness to confirm that my account has been cancelled and that the last debit order will be on the 1st of June 2013.

Low and behold, the debit order was never cancelled and it went off again on the 1st of July 2013. No surprise there. I called them to arrange a refund, and they promised me I would receive the money no later than the last day of July.

I called them several times and every time they had one excuse after the other. On the 2nd of August there was still no amount refunded into my account. I called them again and they told me that they did not have my banking info. (This is strange as there is a debit order on my account.) It also seems they don't know how to use a phone to call me and ask for the information or reply on one of my e-mails.

It is now the 20th of August and still no refund has been paid. It also seems that nobody knows who the accountant is as one message is passed on to several people and yet nothing gets resolved. They take down my number every time and yet nobody ever calls you back.
