Planet Fitness (PF) & Saya Recoveries (SR)

Some weeks ago I found that R500.00 was debited from my account by SR on behalf of PF Bedford. Through FNB I was forwarded to SR and told that I owed PF Bedford an amount of R 6, 519.00.

Approx a year ago (possibly longer) I wanted to join PF Bedford. I filled in a contract application form but, was soon contacted by a credit controller who said it was impossible for me to open an account as I stilled owed money on a previous contract that I had with PF Wanderers. Shortly thereafter I was contacted by SR and paid a settlement of approximately R1, 300. Even though the contract had elapsed in 2007 (and it is not strictly legal 5 yrs later) I paid the settlement so that I did not have the displeasure of this affecting my credit status and incurring possible legal fees. After having settled I was NEVER contacted by PF Bedford to come collect a membership card or to tell me that an account had been activated. I have NEVER walked into PF Bedford since the day I completed a contract application form and was told that my application had been rejected!

I request that you return the R500.00 that was debited and stop billing me for a contract that was to my mind NEVER activated!
