Legal actions taken against me

I signed a 3 year gym membership in 2008, which I paid for in full up front. After the 3 years was up I didn't renew, suddenly debits were going of my Bank account each month, which I told my Bank to return. I then received a call from Saya recoveries saying I was in arrears. After investigating I got a copy of my original contract, which had auto renew ticked on it (I would never have done that, but cannot find my copy), anyway I then sent a cancellation request through and received a settlement letter from SAYA for R 1, 871.52, which I begrudgingly settled on 24/01/12. In August 2013, 1 1/2 years later, I again receive a call from SAYA saying I am in arrears for R7, 000 and I must settle or else legal action will be taken against me. I asked her what this is for, she sent me a planet fitness statement which shows monthly debits have gone through since January 2012, even though I cancelled the contract and settled per a settlement letter. I sent her (turns out to be the same lady I dealt with before who gave me the settlement letter) all the information and now 2 weeks later am still waiting for a reply, she advised she is waiting for Planet Fitness.
