I canceled my month to month contract to join via Liberty own your life. My general experience with the club during this process was incompetence and unhelpful staff. I needed to sign a cancellation form at the club on 27 September 2013. The form states that there is a 30 days notice period - so the date of last debit order needs to be confirmed. I asked the person assisting me what I should write and he said since I am only changing to Own your Life I should write 1 September 2013. He said the club manager can speed up the cancellation process so it will not be a problem. This from was signed by the Club GM. At the 16th of October R200 was deducted from my account. I phoned the club and spoke to Lelanie. She said my account is in arrears. I explained the situation to her and she asked me to send her the form. R218 was again deducted later in October. I phoned Lelanie again. She agreed that since the from stated 1 October was the last debit order I should be refunded but promised to look into the matter. 1 November - R445 was deducted from my account. How is this possible after I was told the subscription will definitely be cancelled by end of October. I get no help from the clu
