Hi There,
Yesterday I went to Virgin Active Waterstone Village and when they swiped my card they said to me that access is denied. I was then told by the receptionist IN FRONT OF ALL THE OTHER MEMBERS that my debit order bounced because of insufficient funds. I am furious because I still changed my banking details with them the previous month. I was with standard bank and have moved to FNB which I made them aware of.
Because of their fault I get denied access to the gym I have been training at for over 2 years and never once missed a payment. I was then told I would be double debited on 1 September 2013... HOW can you debit me for a months fee when I am denied access to the gym??? Please explain this to me.
I had to then fill out another form with my new banking details again... I mean really!
Very disappointing and beyond embarrassed. Surely the receptionist should have taken me to a private room to discuss all of this with me and not tell me in front of all the members waiting to get in.
