We have opened a virgin active account with a friend who canceled his membership before me. At this point, I have changed the bank details to mine and my fees were debit from my account as it should be.
5 months later I called them to cancel my membership and discovered that it was already done without notifying me due to unpaid fees and that this issue has been handle to MDB inc. All that without any notification. I went to virgin active and discover that they tried to call my friend number all this time who now live oversea. They said they would update my details so that they could finally contact me and not an unreachable phone number. The manager called me while I was away from Cape Town and told me to call back when back. That what I did, but the lady that I had on the phone told my file no longer with Virgin and gave the MDB number. I then called MDB, to solve the issue and pay the amount due, they could not find my file. I had to call back Virgin to have more details for MDB to finally discover that my file was on the name on my friend.
At the end, it took more than 1 month and I paid around 400R extra for Virgin Active bad managing.
