Billing after contract was cancelled &no feedback

My husband and I were on a couples month to month contract and cancelled it on the 2nd or 3rd of April 2013. We phoned in in advance and spoke to a young girl to make sure that we could go in to the store and cancel. Se assured us that we could go in any time before 8pm and just fill in a form and being the beginning of the month, more than the 20 days notice as stated in the contract, it would not go off on our account at the end of the month. We went in, completed the form and gave it back to her. We asked if there was anything else we needed and she said no.
The 1st of May came & the transaction came through for 25fit! I phoned in on the 5th and spoke to Grahm, he said I should speak to Dolly but she was not in and that he would get her to phone me the next day. Of course she didn't. I phoned in on the 7th & she did not get a message to phone me or our completed form that we had filled in to cancel and according to her we did not cancel.

I told her the entire story and she asked me to put it in writing. I demanded a refund since it was not my fault there was a mistake on their side. Louie would have attended to the mattEr and get back to me. 3 weeks later and still no word!
