I joined Planet Fitness in May sometime. I therefore was required to pay the activation fee, black tag fee and the pro rata fee. However my account was still deducted with a random amount and they then double debited by account for the month of June. I queried this with the ladies in the accounts department at Planet Fitness Claremont and was told that I will be refund in 3-4 weeks' time. This was very disturbing, why does one need to wait so long to be refunded with your own money?? Anyway its going on week 5 now and still no 'refund'.
I've again spoken to the ladies at the gym and was told to call Head Office and speak to a lady named Gloria. The head office line stays engaged. I am now highly irritated and filled with regret as Virgin Active seems to be the better option.
