After sending my complaint about the unauthorised charges from my account, I recieved an email from the customer care specialist Nawaal Daniels on 09th April who apologised for the inconvenience caused and said that I will recieve the total refund of R1036.33 within 7-10 days.

A month and a half has passed and yet I have not recieved any refund to my account. I called Nawaal on the 17th of May to follow up on this, she again apologised and said that the refund will reflect on the 20th of May.
I asked her to give me a call the same day to confirm it and she said she will contact me the same day around 10:00 in the morning. Unfortunately, I recieved no phone call on that day and ofcourse no refund. I feel very disappointed and angry as it seems Virgin Active is making a complete joke of me. I regret the day that I signed up with Virgin Active and I hope many other people will be careful of what offers they make. If my complaint through Hello Peter is not going to resolve anything, then it will have to be resolved through court.
