This is an extention of a report I recently published where Virgin Active has taken more than 2 months to refund money that they incorrectly debited from my account.

They have since found out that the paypoint they use (from FNB) took the money off my account, but didn't allocate the money to their accounts. So the money has not reached its destination and therefore they couldn't pay it back to me.

This is a typical operational issue that I, as their customer, am not concerned with. As far as I understand, I paid R572 more than other Virgin Active customers in my situation. This is not fair treatment and the bottom line is that because of my transaction with Virgin Active, they owe me R572.

If I was the owner of this business, I would have settled the customer's issue first and then sort out the operational issue that caused it in the background.

I hope that this report could cause some action to resolve this issue. I hope their is a human employee at Virgin Active with the ability to see the issue for what it is and STOP throwing their operational issues in my face.
