2 YEARS AFTER CONTRACT EXPIRES NOW I OWE MONEY?

According to my records, my contract has been paid up in August 2013. Now, all of a sudden, 2 years later, they claim that I owe them R577. They handed me over to Saya Recoveries! How in the world is this possible? I try to phone the branch, but I am unable to get through to them! This is the people that double debited my account for 3 years, costing me all the extra bank charges! And now I still owe them, 2 years later??? Very very bad service since day 1!!!
