Quick to take money but extremly slow to refund

I wanted to cancel my contract with Virgin active on the 18th but could only pay the fee on the 20th (a Saturday), Calling them on the 20th, no answer on 0860200911.

I called them again on the 22nd (Monday) and cancelled my contract, they took the fee, and told me the debit order will be closed. On the 25th they took the debit order. I called them asked for a refund; they informed me they have requested it and the month will be back in my account within 3 days.By the 30th there was still nothing, so I called again the said no, on the first the returns will run and then 3rd I'll have my money.

On 6 May I called them again; they then told me on the 7th the order will run to return my money. Still I haven't received my money. They also said that a manager will call or email me as; I requested they pay back the money with the interest it would have accumulated due to the rollover of month end.

It is two days later and no money, no call... no feedback
