CANCELLED CONTRACT - NOW BILLED THREE MONTHS LATER

I verbally cancelled by Virgin Active contract at the beginning of January 2013. I was subsequently phoned and offered three months free membership. I have today noticed that an amount of R312.50 has been taken off my bank statement. During the telephone call nothing was mentioned (conveniently left out) that after three months my contract will automatically be reinstated. Please, as originally requested, cancel my contract and refund me my R312.50.
