My marriage of 25yrs shattered

I am devastated; overcome with absolute shock, distressed about what happen to my beautiful wedding ring set purchased from Highveld Mall branch in September 2012.
On Saturday, 27th April 2013, as I normally do, got dressed and put on my rings. Went to the Highveld Mall for some quick purchases and returned home. As I was about to take off my rings I noticed that the whole, complete top part of my ring has disappeared.
I do not understand how this is possible as I do take the absolute care with my rings.
Could this be a manufacturing default? I absolutely shocked at the poor quality of this product and to think that I paid so MUCH hard earned money for a pathetic useless piece of junk!!
I'm overwhelmed about what happen to my wedding ring, it feels as if my marriage of 25 years has been shattered permanently, my husband was extremely upset about the poor quality.
I requested urgently for American Swiss to restore my beautiful ring to its original condition or replace it with another ring of better quality and value.
