Gas heater never worked

I bought a new Alva Gas heater from builders warehouse a few months ago. The heater has never worked properly. Following the instructions to the T the heater does not want to ignite after hundreds of attempts, and when it does it works for a short while then dies automatically, leading to the whole process being repeated over again. Trying to warm up in winter with this heater is a frustrating experience. Don't buy it, you will regret!
