What a disappointing experience!

Yesterday, Saturday 20 April, I went to apply for an account at abovementioned outlet. I had already completed my application form, and was ready to enjoy the benefits of a store card. Once I reached the front of the queue, the assistant blatantly picked up the phone and in a rude and uninterested tone of voice said "give them your details yourself". Why did I have to complete this form in the first place?
After about 30 minutes on the telephone, they wanted my Manager's details to do a background check (in full right), but after notifying my manager that they are going to call him, he is until this day awaiting their call. My HR manager also got a call, but the asistant said "she doesn't want to confirm you now, she will on Monday". Blatant, as she also informed me that she had given the caller from Edcon the Go-ahead.
I called for the manager, and he was just as ill-equipeed to assist, and was overall just rude.
It is such a pity that applicants for store cards are made felt like they are not worthy, while that card is what will pay a part of their income.
I eagerly await feedback and my STORE CARD!
