THIS RETAIL STORE DOES NOT NEED OUR BUSINESS

A colleague of mine paid cash for a lounge suite at Metro, Pretoria about three months ago and requested the material to be changed. On the day of delivery, the staff refused to move the couches to her flat on the 5th floor and wanted to leave it in the parking area for her to move it upstairs. She refused acceptance and I then went with her to Metro to see if we can make new arrangements. She spoke to a Mr Moodly, who stated that the suite was custom made on her request and it won't fit in the stairs or lift. I commented that all furniture is made to fit through a standard size door and that only the material and not the size of the furniture changed, but he very rudely said that he won't talk to me, calling me and people in my profession clowns and, bluntly refused to speak to me and threatened me to leave the shop. This after I twice told him that I am not there to argue. He also phoned the delivery guy and in my friends' presence refers to "the problem lady with the couches" Instead of promoting his store to the public, he said to us that HE DOES NOT NEED CLIENTS LIKE US.
