Mr Price deliver furniture to the parking lot!

We live in Jhb and ordered furniture for our son's apartment in Cape Town. Everything went efficiently and smoothly until the furniture arrived. Our son was told that it is company policy not to carry furniture up stairs. So they left the furniture in the parking lot! The building has no lift because it only has one upper floor. The issue is that NO mention was made of this policy when the order was placed and later when delivery was confirmed and organized. What do they think people are going to do? They could see from the delivery address that the apartment was on the 1st floor but said nothing about not carrying up stairs. But of course they don't care - they got their money so move onto the next sucker. The supervisor was easily reachable when trying to organize delivery but when we tried to discuss the carrying up stairs issue the phone was put off. So next time we will buy elsewhere.
