I Bought a lounge suite in jan 2013 and went on holiday on my return i decided i was not happy with my purchase and contacted the branch to ask if i may exchange for another suite as i did not even used it once i am a single 73 yr old woman and there is no damage what so ever to the lounge suite but i was straight forward refused by the GM Mr Herbst according to him there is no merits to exchange the suite for me and it is now second hand although i never used it. I am so disappointed in the company this was n cash purchase of a bedroom and lounge suite of R21000 and from the start i had problems with purchase with delivery with the cash back voucher and now with trying to exchange DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THE JD GROUP i was even held captive in there storage area because the security guard refused to open the gate because staff did not supply me with the nessesary documentation to leave the premises and was detained for more than a hour and begged to be let go, and was still refused even by management i had to go back and wait for a incompetent individual chatting away on the phone for paper work.
