Pharmacy assistant with poor interpersonal skills

The pharmacy assistant at Clicks Hyde Park seems to think because you can't speak you automatically qualify for retardation. I tried to write down and explain I can't talk because of ulcers on my larynx, but he battled to understand. He also got annoyed when he asked the other assistant to fetch something but she was busy.

When hubby and I finally got him to understand that I can't talk he starts explaining to my husband how I must take my medication. I indicated that I can hear, so he explains v-e-r- y s-l-o-w-l-y because if I cannot speak, I am therefore stupid! Then he gets the instructions on the printed label all mixed up - its a good good thing I can read and remembered what it said on the doctor's script.

I am absolutely shocked that someone who works with people, especially sick people, has zero interpersonal skills. Shame on you Clicks, for not training your staff properly!
