Great service from Michael of Cycles Direct

In my earlier complaint about Specialized Bicycle Components and the warranty claim I feel that the wrong impression might have been made about Cycles Direct of Parklands. Michael of Cycles Direct did not say that Specialized would replace the wheel but that he would refer the claim to them. Also he did not work on the wheel and his sole involvement was to look at the bulge. It was another Specialized agent that replaced the bearings and on spinning the wheel noticed the bulge in the hub. He assisted in filling out the claim for referal to Specialized. While I am disappointed at the comments by Specialized Michael has made the suggestion that he rebuilds the wheel using an aluminium hub. As I am participating in the Joberg2C event next week I value this. Michael has gone out of his way to assist and I cannot fault him in any way. My only regret is that I did not go to him in the first place. I have learnt and he will have all my business from now on
