I went to jet mart at eloff street to buy a cellphone worth R119 using my jet account. There was a minus on my account but my max credit for the day was R238. I got to the cellur department and was helped by a lady named Matlalane Dubazane, I greeted her and she didn't vocalize her reply but it sounded like "mmmm", I ignored that though. Gave her my card to swipe and she saw it had a negative, she just told me I have to pay my account before I could use because of the negative, basically she sent me away without explaning anything. I went to ask at a different department if I could buy a phone or not, thet told me I could. They referred me to the cellphone department manager, Zweli. He explained that if I have a minus on my account it might happen that I must pay something according to the system but sometimes it might accept. He went to the cashier, explained and the system accepted everything withoyt me paying. Zweli was helpfu and kind, even apologised to me. He asked the cashier to apologise she just kept quiet. My complaint is that, people who don't know anything are mistreated and sent home and that's unfair. What ask from cashiers, pls don't judge a book by its cover.
