Yesterday I had 2 amounts deducted from savings account stating SHORTFALL RECOVERED which put my account into a NEGATIVE balance. When I explained this to customer care they insisted that it was and cancelled my card even though i explained that I am convinced that this is a SYSTEM ERROR. Only to be told by Kerusha that she sees that I owe this money and thats why it was deducted, when I ask to speak to her manager, she says that her manager is off sick and then puts me on hold for over 10 minutes. When I called again I spoke to another department only to be told by another lady that if I say I didnt draw the money and its deducted then it has to be. What sort of training have these people got to not know anything. A portion of my money has now been put back into my account while I was talking to the agents so now I know it was a system error. Now I have to go through the process of reactivating my cancelled card. Standard bank needs to TRAIN their staff, I am tired of this service and the inconvenience I have been caused twice in 2 months
