I purchased a tv stand from cash crusaders in mega city and explained to the assistant that I'm won't be taking the stand because I'm still renovating my house which he responded that they will keep it for me for as long as I want. I payed for the stand a received a receipt for it. Whenever I went to do shopping I would pop in and check if the stand was still kept for me and the assistant always said yes it is still in their store room. 8 months later when I went to collect the stand I was told that I had taken the tv stand, I asked for management and asked the assistant in front of management if he had seen me taking the stand and he blatantly said he wouldn't know because I could have come in the shop while he was not there to collect the stand. When I showed management the receipt, they said it doesn't tell them much because once I pay for something it's assumed that I have taken it. Up until today I have never received my stand that I payed R1000 for. Furthermore when I pass the shop, the responsible consultant just looks at me and gives a grin. I will never purchase anything from cash crusaders again because they are!
