SHOCKING TREATMENT BY CHECKERS SECURITY

We live close to the Checkers and we do all our shopping there, yesterday my dad went to buy us mushrooms and he jumped on his Harley and popped to Checkers as he has done on numerous occasions. He was on the phone when he walked into Checkers and was already busy doing his shopping when he got pulled by his arm (still on the phone) by the security guard. My dad put the phone down and he asked the security what was going on, the security said he was not allowed in Checkers. Finally the security said to him the reason being was because of his backpack, my dad said to the security he was more than welcome to search the backpack but he needed it to put his purchases in as he was on a motorbike. The security rude, obnoxious and arrogant just said he was not allowed in Checkers. So my dad left after a huge argument and a huge scene caused and went shopping at Pick n Pay.
My dad has said he will never set his foot in Checkers again. I understand there is security but this is taking things too far. The backpack is smaller than most women's handbags, so then women shouldnt be allowed in Checkers with their handbags, its the same principal. I am a woman and i find this treatment shocking.
