As a first time user of your delivery service I would just like to say that it is utterly pathetic. I placed an order on Wednesday morning 27 March. It indicated that the delivery would be made on the 28 March between 14:00 - 17:00. The recipient had to wait the whole time only to receive an sms at 16:15 that they are running late. Why, at 16:15 was I only informed that the delivery was late?
I called after receiving the late sms to establish the new delivery time and was informed between 17:00-18:00. Again this did not happen. I phoned Woolworths Online again. The consultant phoned the driver and was informed that they were stuck in traffic. Traffic at 18:00 on a long weekend?! Bad excuse to say the least. It is now 18:30 and there is till no delivery. Unfortunately the recipient is no longer able to wait as he has been held hostage due to Woolworth's tardiness the whole day.
I phoned again and spoke to Sheena George whereby she apologized for the faulty information. I have placed a request with Sheena that the delivery be moved to Saturday 30 March at 10:00am. Sheena did inform me that it is merely a request and that she could not guarantee that it wo
