I placed an order on the Woolworths online store. The delivery day and time stated Saturday 8 June between 10AM and 1:00PM. This was the start of my worst online shopping experience to date. A few days after placing the order I was informed an item was not available. Surely they would have known this before hand? On the day of the delivery I waited till around 2:30pm before contacting the online help desk as to why the delivery was late, i was told it would be 20 more minutes. After another half hour I called back only to be given the delivery guys number. He eventually arrived close to 4:00PM. When I checked the package I found that a set of curtains I ordered were the completely wrong size.By now infuriated I called the helpdesk again and spoke to sheena george who tried her best to locate the correct size curtains to no avail. For my trouble she offered a R150 refund which I still am waiting to receive. I eventually had to drive to the nearest woolworths and get a refund for the incorrect curtains. My entire saturday was wasted dealing with this service. Being a family man I dont need to tell you how precious this time is. Thats the last time I use that website!
