Today i was shopping at Clicks in the Northmead Mall when it came to checking out i paid with my credit card. After putting in my pin i received an sms from the bank stating that the money had been deducted however according to the teller the transaction had not been completed on her side and she was unable to give me the goods and we should try my credit card again. We did try my credit card again and again i received an sms stating that the money had been deducted and again the teller said the transaction was not completed. At this point i do believe i am owed a refund or the goods i bought which the teller refused to give me. The manager, John, was called and he explained that the money would be reversed and that i would receive it in the next 24 hours. When i asked for proof they said they cannot give it. I refused to leave without some proof that i would get my refund or my purchase. At this point the manager disappeared. Management didnt even have the decency to call their head office or the bank i had to call customer care from my own cell phone to enquire further. I eventually got a letter from John stating that my refund would now take place in 48 hours. Useless!!!
