Damaged Samsung LED TV

Shops, Products, Services

I bought a Samsung LED TV on Tuesday 12 March 2013. When I switched it on at home, I found it had cracked screen. The security checked it with me, but we only looked through the plastic film that protects it, and did not see the crack. Furthermore it was never tested inside the store.

Today (14 March 2013), when I brought it back, I EXPERIENCED AN ALIEN AND HOSTILE RECEPTION. Firstly the assistance at the store by the name of Stuart told me STRAIGHT IN THE FACE, that he was NOT GOING TO REPLACE IT. And started accusing me of dropping the Plasma/LCD, although one of his colleagues told him IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE for it to be dropped FACE DOWN. He even demonstrated to him.

Despite that, he was plain rude. As I LEFT THE STORE, a VERY POLITE man of INDIAN origin by the door, took me by hand to one of the "Managers" to take my details and probably assist.

They took my details and I was hoping for positive feedback. Service call logged with Robin 012 326 6460.

As a customer, I had expected them to replace the unit outright, not to wait for a RESPONSE FROM SAMSUNG.
This morning 15 March, I got a call from Robin saying that THEY WILL NOT REPLACE
